INTERVIEW SERIES for women and mums in business who are challenged with juggling their business and family commitments.
Here we will offer hints and tips from other women in business.
Mums, in particular, can discover ways to find their work/life balance along with ways to ease their business stress so that they can focus on actually bringing money into their business.
“I’m not the crafty type, so making things to sell was never going to be an option – nobody would buy anything I attempted to make.
I love admin work, organising and helping people, so when I discovered the Virtual Assistant (VA) industry I discovered a lifestyle where I could work from anywhere, be with my kids and earn money doing what I love to do.
After running a successful VA business for several years, many people asked me how it was done and sought help to get their own businesses started.
So in 2013, I launched the Start-Up VA workshop which teaches people how to start their own Virtual Assistant business so they too can work from home and work around their families.
I now run the Australian Virtual Assistants Centre of Excellence (AVACOE) which provides resources to help VAs all over Australia start and grow their home-based businesses and I do it all from home – or sometimes the beach!” https://www.avacoe.com.au/
